Hello,

when importing raw files taken from the camera to Lightroom, the pictures looks different.
i think there is a specific setup that needs to be applied on the raw pictures, maybe a preset for canon 5D mark I, Mark II etc.

Any idea where it could be coming from?

No me niether. I presume you want the photo in LR to look as it does on the back of the camera, in which case, dont shoot RAW.

LR uses the basic RAW with no settings applied, you apply them yourself, thats the whole point of RAW.

There are camera presets avaialble, but whats the point in that? Just shoot JPG if you are going to apply the camera's preset anyway.

There is the camera profiles tab towards the bottom on the right hand side of the develop module. But if you want your raw files to look exactly like the back of the camera you are better off using Canon's DPP software that came with your camera.

yes same as the display of the camera.
i'm used to work on the pictures RAW however in most case pictures doesn't need to be too much modified and thanks Craikey camera profile setting will be adapted for casual pictures shot in sraw2
for the other pics, a RAW file is perfect for more unique shots.
