Thanks for those.

I have to say that I sometimes really want to just up the saturation a bit in lightroom and there are controls to up the saturation of each colour in the spectrum separately, but I can no longer find a universal one like there was in lightroom 1.0

Or am I missing something?

I use 1.1 and it's under BASIC - it's with the clarity and vibrance setting on mine

Spot on, the two very last things in basic, vibrance and saturation.
