Hi,Does anyone no of an action that will allow me once I have sent images from Lightroom to Photoshop CS 6 to tell Photoshop to make an additional two, three or four or more images with say +1 stop and -1 stop difference in exposure to the exported image/s
WHY would I want to do this?
For HDR using the one image!!
Thanks
Russ

You could almost certainly write an action for Photoshop to do this relatively easily.

As Charlotte says you could do it easily once you have an appropriate action. The best thing would be to record your own, then you could set it as a droplet from LR and it would run that action after the image has been exported :)

This all sounds so easy in my head but would take me about a week to set up!!!

May try by way of an action when my brain is working a little better :)

Hi, Thank you for the advice
Marsha, Never gave the droplet a thought as I only scanned over them a little time ago maybe worth another look.
How is the long exposure going for you?

Why not make virtual copies in lightroom and change the exposure on those?

Hi, Because as I thought if you had for example 20 or more images you wished to convert that would take a lot of time making the VC's but I have since found out that if I make a +2 and -2 presets I can use Ctrl & ' to quickly make VC's of each I also made an action in Photoshop to make +2 0 -2 and found if I 'Save As' rather than just 'Save' to a separate folder it will place them back in Lightroom and also copies in the folder, found this useful as I can now export to the 32 bit hdrsoft Lightroom plug-in and also use my external HDR software to see where I get the best result straight out of the can 'so to speak'.
Thank you for your reply
Russ
