Looks very similar to the free one I use...

Hi yes that looks like the one, I would like to see it in action, the main problem I have is when i download it there is no .lrweb files or any other lr files, and cant see how I am ment to open the template in LR, if that makes sense.

I've just thrown together a public gallery at my gallery URI of

http://gallery.jasonsouthern.com/

You click the image, it enlarges it ang gives you the drop down options.

When you download the package, you need to unzip it, then move the directory it creates into your Web Galleries folder

http://www.lightroomgalleries.com/tutorials/web-module-introduction

Once it's there, start up LR, and you'll see it appear as an option in the top right under Engine.

Select that, then start tweaking.

You need to read the readme file to know how to format the pricing codes, and this is placed in the image IPTC data (under metadata)

I'd also recommend setting flat rate shipping on your PayPal account (readme explains it too)

It took me about 45 mins from start to finish setting mine up, including the price codes, tweaking paypal ( flat rate shipping, extra email addres etc), matching colours to the rest of my site and fine tuning.

It was well worth the effort.

Is your Paypal set to use dollars as a default currency?
Might not be a proper with the lightroom side of things, could be paypal itself.

just looked into the code for the template and the link to paypal is set as .com not .co.uk <form id="viewCartForm" target="paypal" action="https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr" method="post">

I'm so glad I found this thread...
Web rebuild number 168 coming up :(

This gallery is just what I need, seems much less hassle than using Jalbum as I can produce the gallery straight from lightroom.
Can you have subfolders?

I've had a quick look, and there's no obvious way to create subfolders.

I tend to have individual galleries that are linked from either a main jump page (client has had multiple shoots), or are sent to specific clients (most common).

Exactly what I was just looking at in Joomla.. easily done without any hassle.

Thanks for taking the time to check it out Jason

heading to work, can someone try this on a remote system see if the shopping cart is still in USD I just cant get my head round this at all!!!!

I know the pic links are now broken but still will add to basket.
when I click on the middle option the price is shown in ££££ but the important part is still in USD

Many thanks,

Michael.

Website is in £
Paypal "Options" heading is in £
The subtotal and total are in $, but it doesn't even exchange it, it's just £15 or $15

Hope That Helps

There's no image appearing.

But...

I can get through to see the add to cart, I click on it, and it goes into my cart as...GBP i.e. £10

So it works correctly for me.

Have you checked this setting in the xml file yet?

<ppCurrency value="GBP"></ppCurrency>

thanks foryour imput guys, as soon as I put my personal settings for paypal thats when it changes to USD if i leave the default paypal email address its fine so I will contact the Customer service for paypal in the next 48 hours and see if they can change my account to pounds and not dollars

Michael.

I'm assuming these are all integrated with PayPal? If not 'you' need to purchase an SSL certificate.

Yes, it's all integrated.

All the galleries do are place the items into a paypal shopping cart, no personal or payment information is ever entered into the gallery, only on PayPals site.

It's the easiest way to ensure compliance with PCI-DSS for a small merchant, which is important for anyone taking online payments.

hello again I know its been a while... just getting my head round web sites again its been years!!! anyone still using the lightroom templates and if so any links at hand?
