Lightroom on an HP i5 2570p ?

I am looking to get another laptop that will mainly mainly be used for editing Raw files at home but also portable enough to take on holiday with me, so that I can save files in individual folders on a daily basis & maybe do a bit post processing while on the train. I was looking at the i5 2570p for it's portability and was wondering if anyone knows of how well Lightroom runs on this machine ?. The main laptop I have at home is an i5 Probook 6570b and that does editing really smoothly, but is just too hefty to leave my home. Of course if there are any other laptops that are light and run Lightroom smoothly, then I am open to ideas.

Are you using an external screen at home then? Small screen is fine when out and about etc.. But I wouldn't want to be constantly editing on a 11-13" screen..

The elitebook processor will be fine, 8gb+ the ram though..

Is keeping th Probook not an option?
