Hi all,

Adobe have updated Lightroom Mobile for iOS to now include RAW support :)

I've just tested it with DNG files from my Leica Q. All works as advertised.

Ta,
Shane.

What's New in Version 2.4.0

2 incredible new features for Creative Cloud members:

• Raw support is here! With this Technology Preview you can import and edit the raw photos you take with your camera.

You can also sync these photos and edits back to Lightroom CC on your computer.

For a list of supported cameras, visit http://www.adobe.com/go/supported_cameras

• Local Adjustments lets you selectively apply Exposure, Brightness, Clarity, and other adjustments to a specific part of a photo

Just watched, a few youtube videos, regarding this. Mobile editing is becoming more and more advanced.

I wish they'd spend more time improving the offerings of LR desktop. There is a lot of competition around now that can do a whole lot more than LR as a raw editor.

This sounds good, means we could use the iPad Pro & RAW editing.

Indeed, I already use an iPad Pro 12.9" along with the Apple Pencil to edit images, along with the Adobe mobile apps.

I also use Mylio (which is great), because it supports RAW. Now that LrMobile now supports RAW I may give up Mylio.
How do you get on with the iPad pro with editing? I quite like using the Nikon app to check images and download a few to do some quick edits.

Overall, I think the IPP is great to edit on.

For anything too complicated or critical I will finish the editing off on my iMac (limits of the apps so far rather than the hardware, and if colour accuracy is critical) - but for 90% of stuff it works great for me.

The Adobe apps are really good so far in my opinion. Lots of stuff they could add, but they are getting there.

The Pencil is superb. Palm rejection is excellent too.

Now RAW is available directly within LrMobile, and as more tools are added - I will no doubt use it even more in my workflow.

This is great as now I can take the iPad on my holiday cruise this year and do some preliminary raw edits before backing them up onto the mypassport wireless drive....
Result!
