Yes
I started using Lightroom CC on my laptop and the link to Flikr is fine, I then started using it as my second account on the PC but no matter what I try I can't get the likk to Flicker to set up from the PC.
The laptop is still fine, any Ideas?

you need to re authorise flickr. doubleclick on flickr in your services folder and authorise then SAVE. hth mike flickr sees the 2 different computers as seperate.

Cheers Mike, I do the authorize bit on LR for Flickr, it goes to the permission on Flicker, when I click Yes and it goes to the "static lightroom" It does nothing, just sits there!

not quite sure if you just close it and save settings or does it not come up as save. when you have finished saving and double click on flickr in lightroom it should say "not saved as this is lightroom trying to do it all again just close the box and continue. when you double click it should look like this (see link) try deauthorising then reauthorising

When I hit Authorise on the screenshot you show, it goes to Flickr on the internet where it asks if I want to allow it, when I hit Yes to continue it goes to the "static lightroom" page where it does nothing.
when I go to Lightroom there is a window to Close, confirming I've granted access on the internet.
At that point I'm back to where I started, with the grab you showed but i can only Authorise and at the bottom of the box it says "can't save changes You haven't logged onto Flickr yet"

My laptop is being repaired but when i get it back I'll try to see if all the steps and info is the same.
Cheers for trying

one more thing andrew do you log on to flickr and stay "logged in" as if you have to log in first it may get confused I'm always logged in to flickr as there is nothing of value to me on the site i also do not have "pro" so they do not have my bank details hth mike.

I've struggled for some time to set this up. According to LR my Flickr account is available but when I try and finalise the setup nothing happens.
There are a few threads on the Flickr help pages about this not working properly. General consensus seems to be that it's a problem of LR and Flickr not talking to each other properly. Seems a bit hit and miss. Either it works first time or it never works.
Be good if someone can find a foolproof way to get it working but I'm not hopeful.

mine works but drops off occasionally and i have to reconnect bit of a pain

Thanks tried that. No difference.

Every time I go to LR Publishing Manager and publish the list comes up with flickr on it but always says "not saved". I save then it asks if I want to republish anything. I say yes, but nothing happens. Can't seem to get the flickr to permanently register, even with your suggestion.

i'll keep looking see if we can't work this out ;)

Hi all just found something ...try using the "old uploader" go to top right of flickr page and hit upload it gives the option to use old uploader give it a try and let me know how you get on cheers Mike. this was one fix i found on the net

Thanks again. Tried the old uploader. My it's slow! But it didn't change anything. Tried IE and Chrome as well. They changed nothing.
For some reason LR won't save my flickr settings.
I've sorted out a work round for it, but if I could get LR to do it for me that would save some steps in workflow. If not, I'll just have to live with it.

also saw some thing about other plugins affecting each other if you have plug ins in your browser try disabling them one at a time to see if you can connect

Now that could be an answer. I do have a whole stack of third party plugins in LR. I'll work my way through those and see what results I get.
Thanks again.

Nice to know it's not just me that's having the problem. I'm always logged on to Flickr and not a pro either, I'll try the uploader later.
I just publish to a folder on the hard-drive then upload from Flickr so not a prob but the easy route would be handy

mind if i ask what versions you guys are using i'm on lr6 standalone

I'm on LR 5.x stand alone. Don't think that is a problem. I have a Scott Kelby book for this version and I've followed his instructions. It works for him but not me.

i assume thats quite old then and the issue has come up recently. i mostly have problems with plugins when my os updates i'm currently on osx el-capitan on a mac and had lots of minor problems to start but becoming less frequent now as it settles in and the minor updates get sorted.

Don't think age is relevant. It has never worked right from new. I keep having a little play in the hope that some update as sorted the bug but nothing ever changes.

ah thats the point i was making so it has never worked and you did'nt sort it bad bad boy ;)

I tried to sort it, honest. Gave up in desperation. Thinking about it it never worked before I put the plug ins in.

I'm using CC, didn't work when I installed it and not being tech savy gave up after a dozen attempts :-)

another thing to check is that you don't have 2 plugin folders search plugins find lightroom and flickr plugins and make sure you only have 1 copy on your pc

I'm on Lighroom 4 standalone. My ability to publish directly from LR to Flickr suddenly stopped working earlier this year. Googling showed that many other people on standalone versions were having the same issue.

What fixed it for me (and others) was to replace the Flickr LR plugin with the one from LR CC. (Adobe CC can be downloaded as a free trial, and the small plugin file copied from there). There is a detailed thread on another forum somewhere but I can't currently find it.

Now found it - https://www.flickr.com/help/forum/en-us/72157660862072314/page2/

Hope this helps.
