I must have done something but don't know what

I normally make some adjustments in the develop module, and if I need to do any further work I open it in CS5 and all the adjustments I made in LR are added. Now for some reason when I open in CS5 any adjustments I made in LR are not there. This has just started in the last day or so. Using LR4.

Any ideas?

Thanks :)

I usually get a pop up asking me what I want to open in Photoshop, if I want it to have the Lightroom edits etc.

What version of Lightroom are you using?

Yep, I get that sometimes, but I think thats only after I've edited it in PS then saved it back to LR as TIFF or something, and then when I open it PS again.
Using LR 4 but not sure if this problem started when I upgraded or not.

LR4 has known problems with opening in photoshop. I've upgraded to LR4.1RC which has improved things.

Try updating Photoshop to ACR 6.7. This is the latest develop module that is identical to that in LR4.

You'll get an error message stating it's not compatible but according to Adobe it is.It's just a "bug" But you also have the opportunity of letting LR do the rendering not Photoshop.

Alternatively you could download the public Beta of CS6. Trouble is it'll stop working after a while, plus you may find you like it to much. If you shoot a lot of wide angle shots, look out for the Adaptive Wide Angle filter. under the filter menu

Interesting that according to Adobe the LR upgrade sorts the issue of rendering, but in fact the ACR 6.7 upgrade seems to have done the trick :)

Thanks for your help, twas much appreciated, it was starting to annoy me!
