I was pretty adamant that I prefer Nikon View NX2 / Capture NX2 but I've had a decent chance to play with it since bagging my half price copy and am starting to prefer it in many ways.

It's got quite a lot of stuff that I would probably never use and there is no way I'm ever going to use any of the hideous "Lightroom presets" that there seem to be no way of deleting (they are just gross )

I like the way that the panels on the right each have an "on/off" switch as the only panels I can ever see myself making much use of are "basic", "tone curve" and "camera calibration" - the other panels can simply be "switched off" so there is certainly a good amount of user control possible.

I hardly ever use nx2 nowadays and much prefer LR3 for slick workflow. However there are times when nx2 does have the advantage so its great to have both.
