Lightroom 4 - I have imported a batch of photos into lightroom edited them and exported them.
I then noticed that the folders had been imported into a different folder than normal , usually 2014 folder. I moved the new folder into the 2014 folder. Used the find folder command in lightroom and redirected to the new location BUT when I click on develop I still get the Folder cannot be found appearing.
How do I get rid of this?
Thanks

OK what I've done now is clicked synconise. This has put my NEF files so I can now edit them but all the previous edit information has gone and I'm back to square one.#Is it only me that finds Adobe products so damn hard work!!

How did you move the folder?

If you did it in my computer then this is why they can't be found. Any moving needs to be done in LR. To find them if you right click the folder, there is an option to find missing folders. Click on this and then find the folder to re-link.

Not necessarily I do all of my moving outside of LR and use the find missing folder option and never had this issue.

Same here.. I never, ever try and manage or move folders or files from within LR. Just manage them in Windows, and then synch the folder, or find the new folder in LR.
