I don't know how many photogs here use Lightroom, but here's a feature I just found that may prove useful.

In the Develop Module, if you place your cursor on the Histogram you'll find that you can drag the histogram to the left or to the right to make adjustments. Depending where on the histogram you put your cursor, determines what part of the image you adjust, highlights mids shadows etc. It will state what part of the image you are adjusting on the right hand side of the panel.

This means that you can have the panel scrolled to say the curves area, and still adjust exposure without having to scroll up to those sliders.

This looks like a Lightroom only feature as I can't do the same in Camera Raw
