Lightroom exports???

I Cannot find the best and fastest way to save the images I need to save to JPG's using Lightroom 2.

I have been using the export for email preset, the files are ok for putting on the web but not good enough to print or to send to a friend as a larger file.

If I use the normal export preset, I get a bigger file but the quality is poor, it will export some presets but doesnt seem to give me sharp images.

what is the best way to save your finnished image.

The second image looks less sharp when viewing on my Mac using the preview program, but still as you can see it saves differently.

I set up a unique 'user preset' for every option i need. i.e one for best quality, one for flickr/photoblog. It's just a case of changing the settings and then naming and saving the preset :)
 
The presets are just guides, the beauty of the export function is that you can set the settings to whatever you want (although like Mangelwurzel I tend to make presets for anything I export to on a regular basis).

How big you want it goes in the Image sizing bit, the jpeg quality goes in the File settings bit (lower = smaller file size but lower quality, higher numbers = bigger files but better quality). You can also use output sharpening to finish off the image.
