Lightroom export facebook

What are your export settings in regards to pixels and quality?

I don't use Lightroom's built in Facebook thing, but generally export at about 800-900 px longest edge and 100 quality. Facebook is going to crush it anyway, so may as well start off with something half decent.

same here. i found LR built in facebook plugin to be really degrading.

i do a normal 800px long edge at 100% with a logo.

800px long and 95% quality - can't face the high quality upload time with bigger files!

The 800px just manages not to be scaled (badly by the browser!) in FB's photo viewer on my laptop's 1280px screen.

Guessing is looks pish/tiny on ipads but I don't think that applies to too many of my friends.

I've never used the lightroom-facebook uploader, usually do it manually. Mainly because it can't (not that I've found anyway) upload to a facebook page

I use Jeffery Friedls facebook publisher. Long edge 2048, 80% quality, screen sharpening high.

As above but using the built in publish feature.

I'm sure the max size is now 2048px along the longest edge now.

Cheers all. Just thinking out loud now...do you guys delete your exports once you have uploaded them to the web? And then just export ones again when you need to?
