Hello,

I have the following image that has been edited in Lightroom4, if i turn on the blinkiess in Lightroom and edit the background it appears to be white yet when i turn them off i can see where i have used the adjustment brush around the edge.

So i exported and when i view the image its got marks again where the adjustment brush was used.

I import the image into photoshop and change the levels and i can see that the background is really white.

Can anyone advise?

Thanks

Colour space issues? (sRGB in PS, something else in LR - or the other way around...)

i don't see the difference on other sets of photos that have been edited this way.

does it look odd to you?

No - looks fine to me, but colour space issues can give just the sort of issues you're experiencing...

are you using "soft proof" in lightroom?

don't think so.

Just checked and soft proofing wasn't tested.

Just done a test and if i use the adjustment brush it doesn't appear to complete edit the white background but if export to Photoshop i can use the dodge brush to tidy it up and it works fine

just viewed the same issue on my iPad and it looks fine,

can't suss this out, i can however only see the change when i tilt the screen back.

some of the images appear fine and others are not

Going to calibrate my screen later.

My issues is, if i clean up the background in Lightroom and the blinkies show it as white, then this should be correct. I will then export these and pass to a client, what i dont want is them printing the images and to have marks where i have used the adjustment brush.

Gone through other collections and cant see any issues, i think i will just to re edit this set, but what i cant get my head round is why in LR it appears to be correct and then in PS its not.

I have to admit, looking at that the background doesn't look pure white
