Lightroom CC update reverts back to the classic import experience

Update for LR and camera raw 9 out now. Brings back old import.

Surprised they didn't bring it back, as a preference option, rather than just going back to a "classic" import experience.

+1 ^^^^^...…do not recall reading of any other way.

Hang on a mo, I have vague recollection of using (I think) sync i.e. it finds 'missing' images but if I recall that was global with no option to add keywords unlike import.

I create a folder, copy the pictures from memory card to that folder then in lightroom synchronise the folder.

I should have been more clear. What I meant I never have used the import dialog screen that the OP is talking about.
