lightroom cc not there

hi all i subscribe to lightroom but instead of lightroom cc whn i open lightroom a version of " photoshop lightroom 5.6" opens, if i search my laptop for lightroom version 5.6 shows up but not cc, can anyone help please?

p.s.
photoshop cc is there

also i seem to have 4 versions of creative cloud, an original and 3 others, would it do any harm to delete the extra versions?

Open Adobe Creative Cloud from the programme/app list and switch to the Apps tab.

It sounds like you may not have installed Lightroom CC yet.
 
sorry for the delay answering thanks for the reply, i have installed cc, i actually updated it via creative cloud ....but its not showing up o my desktop..and if i open lr it openns a previous version i had 5.6
 
Are you opening it from the Apps list in the Start menu or from the Adobe CC app, or are you using an old shortcut?

(hint, CC doesn't remove the old version of LR and pre-existing shortcuts will still point to the old version)
