Lightroom CC, Catalogue problems?

Has anyone else had problems with the CC upgrade? I thought it'd upgraded my old catalogue and I then added a load of new stuff. Only to discover that I was working in a brand new catalogue that only contained Friday's images. I'm now sat for hours creating a new catalogue that I hope I'll be able to merge everything into.
Though I can't really see my 'new' catalogue any more. :(
 
That sound scary...
I will wait awhile..... to see who else has had a problem....
 
Didn't have that problem here, I let it create the new catalogue and everything was fine. The only thing I would have preferred would have been for it to keep the same name and rename the old one. As it is the new one is name-2.
 
Yeah when I installed it my catalogue wasn't imported even though it asked me if I wanted to, I had to manually add it.
 
As with Chris, the new catalogue is "name-2.lrcat" and is for LR6, it leaves your old LR5.7 there with the original name.

If in doubt restore your data from the backup you took before letting LR loose on your data... ;)
 
Had a similar problem when it only loaded three seperate folders and left the rest. I took it upon me to have a good clean up and back everyrthing up to an external.

Another thing I did notice, when I looked at the camera screen the photos seemed to be exposed correctly, but when loaded into LR6 they seemed to be under exposed.

The problem isn't with my old stuff. It's that in getting the old stuff back, the new stuff disappeared. All re-imported now though, cost a fair few hrs work :(
 
Done mine.....
then light room would not open at all............... Removed, downloaded again.....
Sorted now.
At times I hate Adobe.
