Is it possible to download a preset or plugin to save a border to the image? I know you can print it with one but it doesn't save to the image for some reason! :bang:

I think you can print to jpeg or PDF if memory serves me right.

Another vote for Mogrify here, anyone using Lightroom should download it (and make a donation)

Thanks everyone!

Ive downloaded it but it won't install in lightroom it just keeps saying error!

Have you got the right version - IIRC there are different versions for Lightroom 1.x and for Lightroom 2.x

How easy is it to use Mogrify? I looked at it very briefly before and it seemed to be based on scripting but never had the free time to invest into it.

If I could do borders straight from Lightroom it would speed up my worflow, everything gets exported to PS at the end just to aid a simple border.

Well Ive managed to install the plug in! Should my lightroom look any different? I don't see anywhere to add a border!

Mogrify appears in your export window, on the left. You need to select "mogrify configuration" and add it, and then the "border" option and add that. They then appear as sections of your export setting window.

Very, no scripts just click buttons and boxes to type text in if you're adding it to an image

I get this far but I can't go any further.

I don't know which of the files in the folder I need to select in the configuration menu!

Hmmm. The Mac version doesn't have that.

There user guide is here

eh? Go to EXPORT - and at the bottom of the LH panel you'll see POST-PROCESS ACTIONS - click the down arrow named LR2/Mogrify - now click on the menu you see OUTER BORDERS - INNER BORDERS - WATERMARKS - etc etc - and tell it what you want - couldn't be easier.

Just seen your pic - you need to fill in the path to the Modrify application - where did you put it when you installed it?

Its in c:\users\me\downloads but when I find the folder in there it wants to know which file withing the folder to select and I don't know which one!

no it's not - that's just the downloaded file NOT where it's installed! The path is likely to be: C:\Program Files\ImageMagick-6.5.4-Q8\mogrify.exe if you did a default install

I did that and it still didn't work so I did a quick google to see if I could find anything to make it work and I downloaded a file (something to do with runtime) and it now works!!! Thankyou everyone I am so happy with it!!
