Lightroom: Automating Lens correction and current process

Hi all

Is there any way to ensure that every image I import always defaults to auto lens corrections and where appropriate 'update to current process'?

I always want these settings enabled as a starting point and I can't work out how at the moment!

Yes, bit of a workaround but here goes:

In develop mode, edit a photo to give the look you want.
In left hand side palate create a new develop preset using the approprate values.
Use the develop preset during import
