Lightroom and iPad Sync with PhotoSmith 2

Hey Guys,

Didn't know whether to add this to the Computing section or here but it is equipment we can use out in the field so worth mentioning.

At around 11am this morning PhotoSmith uploading their new Version 2 software of PhotoSmith which now supports 2 way sync.

It's £12.99 but allows you to do all your metadata, keywording, Colour Labels, Rejections just like Lightroom can in the Library Module.

But it allows you to put any image from your camera or from Lightroom to be on there.

I was editing images earlier from a year ago with Keywords and ratings and all the changes were syncd back to Lightroom. FANTASTIC!!

I have an iPad which I use to store all my photos (as a backup) when I'm on holiday. Can I use Photosmith to start processing and tagging them (in RAW), and then sync them into Lightroom easily afterwards?

You certainly can do It's not the approach I use due to the Hard Drive space limitations on the iPad but check out their website

Yes, this is exactly what just it for (well more meta data editing than processing).
