There seems to be quite a few problems with LR 6, then LR 6.2 and LR 6.3
Two days ago I upgraded from 5.7.3 to LR 6 .......... that's what you pay for on the Adobe site - when you can find the stand alone version, which they try to hide and keep linking you to the CC version. I bought this upgrade to get support of the D7200.
upgraded to LR 6.0 ...... and it crashed every minute or so ........ read all the stuff on the internet but could not solve the problem ..... so I went through the "Chat line" - and various bit and pieces where done and then it was fine for an hour. I then read about 6.2 and 6.3 ........ so thinking logically I thought that if I hit "updates" in my "new" upgraded LR 6.0 my 6.0 would be updated ...... no not a chance ...... the "Cloud" or whatever Adobe use now kept thinking that I wanted the CC update ..... it then tried to update LR 6 and said that there was a conflict, (which I course is logical as it is a stand alone version).
I then read about where to find the update from Adobe that would update 6 to 6.3 ........ which I did ... reading further Adobe seemed to have buggered up 6.3 so they have produce a "patch" to roll 6.3 back to 6.2 + a bit of 6.3
so that's were I am now ........ my version on my desktop says Adobe Lightroom 6 and in the Sys Info - Lightroom version: 6.3 [ 1052427 ]
I just wonder how long it will last before it crashes
another 8 hours wasted
