Lightroom 6 crashing every so often..

So, new problem started last week..

Nothing has changed in my system, I've had no problems with catalogues at al in the past few months.

I did a fresh install and imported all my pictures back with fresh catalogues but it's still happening..

I'm halfway through picking out images from a wedding shoot and after a couple, sometimes a few, sometimes 100 Lightroom stops responding..
I have to close it and open it up again.

It also happens if I'm looking at an image to save or bin, edit slightly (crop, expose) when I pick or reject, Lightroom stops responding.

It also happens when I export an image too..

Any advice much appreciated!
 
Have you checked the usual stuff such as processor usage and memory usage as it's crashing ?
 
Not really..

What would that prove, out of curiosity..?

Upon checking it shows a fairly normal 18-19% CPU usage and around 800MB Ram usage..

Wow great thread been having same problems with graphics card crashes will try this Thanks :D
 
I had a similar problem on OS X. Apparently random crashing, appears to b 100% fixed by disabling gpu.

what do I do to get mine to crash? ....... then I can persuade my wife I need to spend some money
