I am trying to put together a slideshow for my 5 year olds birthday and I am having a couple of issues -

1. Can I change the order of the photos ?

2. I select an mp3 format file for music but it says selected file is not a valid music file.

Any ideas ?

She says add mp3 file which I have, and saying the above file selected is not a valid music file
 
Maybe it only uses standard, fixed bitrate MP3 files and yours is VBR or perhaps an odd sampling rate?

TBH.. if you just want a simple slide show.... I'd just export the images you want, and use something like Windows Movie Maker (PC) or iMovie (Mac). Simple drag and drop, idiot proof and free programs.
 
Not used Windows Movie Maker will look into it.

Have searched and found that there is an issue with the windows 32bit OS and LR5 - you have to convert the mp3 to an m4a file for it to work
