Just opened up LR to do a bit more pp on existing files previously uploaded and theyve dissapeared from my library list? Ive had to reimport them from my hard drive as if for the first time....so now I have the CR2 file plus the edited Jpeg (which was previously exported into a sub folder)

Anyone got any ideas why this has happened?

Did you move the files? Or start a new catalogue? or have a filter on that prevented you from seeing them?

I think its something to do with Catalogues....I uploaded last night and I "think" started a new catalogue? I'm not familiar AT ALL with catalogues on LR so Im somewhat confused!
 
Have you tried clicking on 'Open Recent' in the 'File' drop down menu?

Open the previous catalogue - You can import images from one catalogue to another too.
I'd suggest watching some Juianne Kost videos on Lightroom (some on the Adobe web site)
