Just switched on Lightroom and have been given the 5.7 upgrade free of charge. Haven't worked out what improvements there are yet, but all will be come clearer in the next few days.

Why are Adobe doing this for free? Most unlike them!

Hurrah 7D MkII support!!

Tethered support for Nikon D4S and D810.... FINALLY! Months behind the competition, I switched to Capture One Pro for tethering as I couldn't wait for Adobe to catch up!

Ive only been a subscriber for a couple of months, o havent experienced any major upgrades with them yet. Is an increase something they are likely to do?

My subscription auto-renewed last month (no increase) so I've been a subscriber for over a year. As far as I'm aware, Adobe CC began with LR5 so we haven't actually had a full upgrade for LR yet so no precedent has been set but, tbh, I can't see them increasing the monthly payment by much, if at all, and it probably wouldn't take effect until your next renewal.

When Photoshop CC was updated to CC 2014 there was no increase in price if that's anything to go by, also I was watching a video with Steve Caplin on RetouchPro's youtube channel and he said that Adobe had told him they had no plans to put the price up.
