Lightroom 5.5 problems

Can anyone help me, this morning I've come to import a wedding into Lightroom 5.5 and the panel that allows me to apply keywords and metadata on import has disappeared? I have no idea what could of caused this or why it has gone? Any ideas how to get it back? Thanks in advance!
 
Right click roughly where it should be and click "show all". If not if you have the "Apply during import" but nothing underneath it click the arrow on that header.
 
Do you have the other panels on the left hand side. File Handling File renamingetc


Also try pressing the Tab key

I tried that all I have available when I click show all is file handling, file renaming and destination. And when I try to import files that are already on my HD I only have the file handling option.....
 
Logged out and back in of creative cloud and I now have apply during import back along with file handling. No option to rename the files and this is all that comes up if you right click show all....
 
Perhaps if you right click on the RH panel and check out "solo" mode, "collapse" all, etc. Also is this a new import from a card or camera or do the files already exist on a drive, in which case you can only "add" the files. Maybe you know that already but hope it helps.
Failing that, you can always try the standard IT fall-back of switching it all off and then switch it on again!:-)

Renaming doesn't appear to be an available option when using the "Add" function for files that are already imported into your system. Perhaps you are adding existing files rather than importing new files?
 
Therefore if so, existing files can be renamed using the "Export" function in the Library mode.
 
I was so mad when the apply during import box went missing I can't actually remember what is normally there. Yes they already exist on my hard drive. Thanks for all your help guys!
