Lightroom 4 Upgrade edition

Hi,

I want to buy the upgrade edition of lightroom 4 as i am on lightroom 3.

I have had lightroom 3 for years and have no idea what my keycode is and dont have the box (moved house twice).

If i buy the upgrade edition will this include the keycode etc to allow it to work. If i have to buy the full edition then so be it. I have downloaded the free trial which i have had a play with and love the updates.

Hi, sorry to say you need the original LR3 key as well and the LR4 upgrade key. It asked for both when I upgraded mine and wouldn't work without the full LR3 licence key.

Contact Adobe though, their customer support's pretty good and they may be able to re-send you the key from when you registered.
 
Do you have an Adobe Account? If so, your serial number should be registered online with them.

good thinking, will it be the same serial number that i use for the upgrade or does the upgrade provide a new serial.

I cant rememeber what i did when i went from 2 to 3
 
Hi there, the upgrade box comes with it's own serial, and you type it in along with your LR3 serial. The page has a space for both numbers.

It's well worth making sure your Adobe products are registered against your Adobe Account. It makes transferring programmes between computers a breeze.

Any way, go to the Help menu in Lightroom, then take the Lightroom Registration option, and then click License on the left of the pop-up box. You should see all your relevant registatration details (including Original and Update if applicable).
