Lightroom 4 - Soft proofing

Has anyone used the soft proofing in LR4?

I'm giving it a go with a file I'm getting printed, I've got the correct profile etc and at "full" view, the out of gamma clipping for designation warning is showing:

However, when I zoom in to 100%, it doesn't show:

The only thing I can think of is that it is something to do with how the preview is being rendered for the "fill" version. Does that sound plausible to anyone else?

Shall I risk leaving it as is, or tweak the image to get rid of the clipping on both fill and 100%?

(Sorry for the massive screen shots, but you can't really see it otherwise).

You could be right. I would think that most people would want to see the full image not just part of it.

If you want a definitive answer I'd go to the LR4 support pages on the Adobe web site and see if any one there has the definitive answer.
