Hi, need some help with a shortcut please, i have returned to using LR4 after a break, while using LR3 i was convinced there was a shortcut that enabled the crop tool to open in exactly the same position and size on the screen as the last time it was used. I am now using LR4 and have lost my notes. Having searched the adobe and other forums to no avail.
Is there anyone that can enlighten me

In rhe crop and straighten tool on the right hand side you can define your size from a preset or a custom size then lock it using the padlock.

Is this what you mean?
 
No Adrian as i remember if you preset the crop ratio to say crop as original, and for instance you cropped the image to one third of the original size and say towards the bottom corner then double click inside the image that image will be cropped, now if you proceed to the next image and use this shortcut that i am almost sure is available somewhere, the crop tool will open exactly in the same position and size that it was last used on that image, as an overlay , it saved a lot of time in having pull a new crop overlay from a full size image

Rob Thanks for your reply but if you want to copy the crop you first have to crop the image this shortcut puts the overlay up on the next photo in exactly the same size (not aspect ratio) and position as last used
