I have just upgraded to Lightroom5 and Im wondering if I can sell my version of Lightroom 4
Would I need to contact Adobe to get my registration cancelled

You may run into problems i you decide to migrate to another computer. Lightroom will ask for the serial number the original disk. You have an upgrade in the form of 5 and the serial number will reflect that.

If you sell ( and I'm not sure if that's strictly legal within the EUL) then the serial number will be registered with Adobe on another machine.If Adobe take any notice of this I don't know.

I have now installed the new Lightroom 5 upgrade and after installing the new serial number if also came up automatically with the original serial number
So I presume if you deregistered the original it may not accept the upgrade
Just my thoughts
