Hi All,

Sorry if this has been asked before I have looked and googled but can't find anything that matches my problem exactly, as the important thing is to make Jpeg look the same as the RAW on everyones browser and print.

I have an issue with Lightroom 4 when I export a RAW file to Jpeg the jpeg comes out a lot darker than the RAW file. I'm exporting using 100% quality sRGB and the monitor has been calibrated using a Sypder Pro 4.

I didn't really notice the extra darkness until I posted some photos on here and people said little underexposed. Does anyone know how to get the Jpeg to match the RAW files as if I have them printed I want them to look like the processed RAW file (correctly exposed).

Thanks for any assistance

example link to graphic? do they show okay on your screen after export?

After export they also show as darker on the screen, will have to grab a screenshot of difference seen.

are you doing anything during the export, what sharpening settings are you applying and any post processing options?

Some sharpening on the #2 of my post and some exposure/WB/bit of noise reduction nothing heavy

do you run them through something else? the exif on the ones you posted has a "CREATOR: gd-jpeg v1.0 (using IJG JPEG v62), quality = 85" entry.

Only run through Lightroom 4 no other programme. On my portrait post only last shot should be 85% as it was the only way I could get it to upload.

thats probably right - especially if you know no reason for anything else.

Hi All, Sorry for the delay first time I've been able to access the files again. Upload image to Flickr for you to check out EXIF details.
