I have been having a quick play with my new Spyder Cube and it has made me aware of a strange problem.
In Lightroom 3 (latest update) I import the raw image and then set everything to 0 so no sharpening contrast etc. When I then click on the 18% grey area with the white balance tool I seem to get a colour cast.
In Adobe Camera Raw (CS5 latest update) I opened the same raw file and again set everything to 0 and then clicked in the same place with the white balance tool and this time the colour is almost perfect.
Does anyone know what is causing these to programmes to give different white balance settings? Am I doing something wrong or are there some settings wrong?
I’m happy with the spyder cube as long as I use it with Photoshop and not Lightroom but I would prefer to use it with Lightroom

You can see on this image the different colours of these and also the different RGB values

EDIT - Well I dont know what I've done but it is now working the same as photoshop!!! So I now like the spyder cube more now

Have you checked the camera calibration section in the right module? The right camera profile for your taste and the tints all at zero?

*edit* oops just saw your update  Glad you got it fixed
