Lightroom 3 v Elements 7

Some advice if possible please.

How resource hungry is LR3 v Elements?

The reason I ask is that I am considering getting LR but at the present it would have to run on a netbook (which Elements currently does quite happily). However there is no point in getting it as yet if everything will grind to a complete halt!

I know the situation is not ideal however we are where we are for now!

What screen size is the netbook?

There is always the option to download the 30 day Lightroom trial and see how you get on

LR3 will work with 2Gb of memory, but really needs 4Gb. This may be the stumbling block.

Lewis is right, get the 30 day trial and see if it works.
