Lightroom 3 V CS4

Just loaded the trial version of lightroom 3,all seemed well until I tried to open CS 4.It asked me for scratch disks,I entered a spare 250 internal drive as the scratch disk, but CS4 refused to open saying it had a problem before shutting down.

Just removed LR 3 and all is well,any ideas..........:shrug:

Did you try and open CS4 via an export option in LR3.? LR3 uses the latest version of ACR, and that might be the problem, although usually you just get an incompatibility error message with options . Try updating CS4 with the latest version of ACR and see if that helps.

Are you running Mac or PC ( although that shouldn't make any difference either)
