Lightroom 3 Student Version £40

4 should be out in the next month or so but it will likely be a couple if hundred quid. Hard to beat the current price of LR3 I think.

The problem with the above edition is that it can't be used commercially.

I can't see anything on adobe's site that prohibits commercial use
 
is there any difference in the features between the student version and the normal retail version or is it just a case of the licencing use ?
 
is this the same as the student version of photoshop where you don't get an activation key in the pack , but you have to send proof your a student to Adobe ?

does that mean you can't activate it unless you are a student so it will lock out after 30 days like a trial ?

correct.

You have to submit evidence on line that its for use by a registered student but they can be as young as 7 years old!

Or a person working in education or academia.
