hi chaps and chapesses,

i got lightroom 3 today for a specific purpose (making a slideshow) - and i was wondering how i change the order of the photos i want in the slideshow from the imported shots?

so far the most accurate i can get them to what i want is by doing them by when the photos were taken - ordered by time shot taken. surely there is a way of dragging and dropping them in the order i want them though - am i missing something simple?

any help greatfully received.

Group the images you want to use in the library module, then from the tool bar between the grid and the filmstrip (press "t" if it isn't there) select "user order" from the Sort option (you may have to manually choose this option from the drop down on the right) and then you can drag as much as you like and this i carried over t the slideshow module.

Infact in a collection you can just drag the images on the film strip and "User Order" is selected automatically.

fantastic - thank you very much. i had a 'special collection' or something similar which wouldn't allow me to change the order of the slideshow.

nice one
