Lightroom 3 catalog disappeared

Wondered if anyone can offer an insight into this? All the files are still there on the hard drive thankfully, but the LR3 catalog has vanished and I can't find it anywhere!

Any thoughts on what I can do?

If you're running Windows you could search all hard drives from the top level down for *.lrcat

Has it disappeared or are you getting a message stating that Lightroom cannot find the catalogue. If it is the former, then Garry's suggestion should work if it is still on the computer. Alternatively Lightroom may simply have lost it's link to it. In which case it should be in the Pictures folder.If it is just pont LR to it

If it truly has vanished then you'll need to use one of your backs ups instead.
