Lightroom 3 adjustment opacity?

In Photoshop, when you use a new adjustment layer, you can slide the opacity down afterwards to lessen the effect. Also, if you have done that adjustment on the background then you can go edit/fade to do the same thing.

Is there a way in Lightroom 3 to do that? I have to undo what I have just done and do it again lighter.. is there no way to fade it to lighter once its done? maybe like a layer?

not really like a layer, but there are several different methods depending on exactly what the adjustments youve made are.

If you have made adjustments with the graduated filter or the adjustment brush, you can Alt/Option click on the control point for either of them and slide to the left to reduce the effect.

If you have made other adjustments, basics controls, you can just reduce the sliders back towards zero to lessen the effect.

Alternatively, you could create a virtual copy with no adjusments. Open both as layers in photoshop and reduce the opacity of the edited version.

no I have the real thing Marc and love it, but just cant get to grips with that bit. other than that i do everything on lightroom now.
