LightRoom 3.6 v EOS 7Dii RAW CR2 Files

Hello,

I have LR 3.6 and not so long ago I upgraded form my 7D original to 7Dii

LR 3.6 had no problems reading my 7D RAW CR2 files however it does not recognise the 7Dii RAW CR2 files !
I think this has something to do with the 7Dii sensor coming out after 3.6 being released.

Is there a plug in for fix for this issue ?

Either buy a newer version of Lightroom or convert all your new raw files to Adobe DNG using the free DNG converter.

The final version of Lightroom 3 came out in 2010.

Adobe publish a list of which program supports which raw format here.
You apparently require a minimum of Lightroom 5.7 to process 7DII raw files
