Lightroom 3.4 RC released

Just downloaded and installed it. They seem to have added new lens correction profiles, all my lenses are now represented, including my Nikon 18-105VR which was missing before and needs distortion correction the most.

At the risk of sounding a bit dense, will this overwrite my existing Lightroom Installation?

Yes and no, you won't have two versions running side by side (it replaces 3.3) but it shouldn't affect your images or data.

This is a release candidate NOT a final version so proceed with caution - it may still have bugs! Personally I'd wait till the final 3.4 is released.

I downloaded it and installed on my XP machine with no problems.. working fine..

I argree, also the list of new cameras supported may differ when the final is released.

I think I'll have fire for a bit then.. I've seen a few web reviews that point out the differences/upgrades etc. Looks worth the update, especially the import speed increase!
