Lightroom £169.99

i paid £50 from a ebay seller, only the code, but thats all you need

If any member of your family is a student you can get Lightroom for £70

Working in a school qualifies too, then the fun begins getting the code from Adobe

I still think £364 from Amazon for a Panasonic G2, 14-42mm lens, Lightroom 3, 5 year guarantee, and a £30 voucher to spend on anything on Amazon is the best value and you get a great camera for that as well.

You have to have a .ac.uk email address. Most staff who work in education will have one. I've bought products from S4S before and never had a problem but haven't purchased any Adobe stuff.

You can give family/friends anything from that site. However you can only ever buy one copy of it, so you'd have to make sure you don't/ will never want it yourself!

I'm lucky and have two .ac.uk email addresses as I'm a student and work in a college :D

I called adobe uk and told them I had just purchased elements 9 and wanted lightroom 3 but couldn't afford the full price the guy was really nice I got it for £147.73 and it came boxed :) give them a call they will help

You don't actually have to have an .ac.uk mail address if you're a student. My wife doesn't, and Adobe confirmed that she's eligible for student discounts - you just have to meet their criteria. It may be worth calling Adobe first, if you're not 100% sure of your eligibility, because Software for Students insist that you pay with the order, and won't refund if you fail the validation process.

Lightroom............awww, but a dream to me as i am a poor lad

We can all dream :) probably more chance of winning the lottery though for real :)

Sure is, I have just bought a G3 from them and got the same deal (not same price !!), already spent the £30 voucher towards a second battery, so that made it a cheap battery.
Love the G3 camera the G1 was getting just too heavy for me, now just waiting for the Five Year Warranty and of course Lightroom3.....what a deal this has been. Much too good to miss.

One question just where has all that nice sunny weather gone to so that I can give it a good trial.

I've seen that ebay seller £49.99 and loads of positive feedback. Surely Adobe must look at that and be all over his keygen

With the Adobe Lightroom student offer, i am about to start a photography course at my local college, part time. I have my student ID card. Will i be eligible for getting it as a student/s rate?

It does state Student card as proof which i have but is the fact that i am a part time student going to stop me getting it at the student price?

I don't think it'll be a problem. But check adobe's website for their terms and conditions. If you're still unsure email them, I found them very quick to respond and very helpful.

I got LR3 at the student price last year. I qualified as I have a child in school. He's 5.

All I needed as proof was a letter from his primary school conforming his 'enrollment'. In fact they sent me an email with their logo and address on, etc and I forwarded it to adobe. They were satisfied.
