Not been on one personally but Damien McGillicuddy seems to be very highly recommended. I think AliB has posted her endorsment of him recently although I'm not sure if she has attended the course or not.

I just booked myself in for that one. Looks pretty good to me.

AliB did indeed have good things to say about him when we were discussing beauty dishes on another thread.
 
I recently attended a lighting course (not the one mentioned) and learned a lot that I wouldn't have learned through reading.

The practical/hands on experience is great also
