Hi there, bit of a newbie to post questions so treat me gently please. I need advise on how to light for shots of Hi-Fi equipment for web use.
I have looked around and feel that a continuous lamp set up, with the equipment in a big light tent would work best with 3 lights, also i need to take some pictures of some expensive watches, so the lights will have to do both!

I used to do F1, WSK And world rally pro work but this is stationary and i'm finding it bloody hard work - so help me please?

A continuous light setup with a light tent will produce photos of some kind, but they won't even begin to show the products at their best.

Basically you need studio flash with a very large diffused light modifier such as a large softbox, but other flash heads to create emphasis. You will also need to combine the flash with the light emitted from the hi fi equipment itself, which is just one reason why continuous light won't work for this - unless you enjoy wasting hours on the computer:)
