Lighting for hair and backdrop

Would my 2 x 180w/s lights have sufficient power to use them as either an hair light or to lighten a white background.

Any light will have enough power if you're happy to shoot at wide apertures and/or turn up the ISO.

Your lights won't exactly have power to spare, but should be fine even at 100 ISO, in most situations
