Yes
I have limited space in my studio about 2.9m width but length is about 6m,
I would like to light the background but don have enough space for a light stand either side of the background.
What is the best way to light it from above ?? and positioning the lights?

Thanks for any help

I do have a hilite which i dont like because of the colour difference in the hilite and vinyl train and will be selling on so at the moment im using a paper background.

Don't you have enough space for a background reflector on a low stand?

Lighting from above is doable if you want a graduated background, you'd normally use a deeply recessed strip softbox for that, but the light will fall off quite dramatically (it's variable depending on distance/position) and if you want an evenly lit background you won't get it.

Thanks for the reply Garry would i be able to light the background with one light using the low stand and the background reflector and get an even spread ( i use the Lencarta elite 300 pro )

You will for a single person or couple, but 2 would be better for bigger groups, and would need less space from light to background

Thanks Garry looks like i need to sweet talk the wife in to letting me spend some more money
