Have been asked to do an event and i was think of investing in a shoot through umbrella and light.....any suggestions which ones? they will only be lightweight alternative for going to the very odd event:thumbs:
 
What camera system do you use? Do you already own any flashguns?
 
Have nikon....most of my stuff is natural light and I hire stdio as required......have one flash.

It's a regular thing this time of year. :)
 
Agreed. Bounce will do if done correctly, but a cheap eBay brolly on a 12 quid light stand will be better.
 
Just think of the conditions though - dozens of kids running around - mayhem - if you use a brolly/stand you need an assistant to look after it! Flashguns don't bounce!
 
That's also true...if there's something to bounce off.
