Well I made melf one of them light box jobbies. When i set my camera up on AV mode it went to a slow shutter speed so I had to use a mini-tripod. This then fell over. Due to the front leg snapping :$

So any tips?

He said in his usual helpful manner ;)

1) Superglue the leg back in place and try again tomorrow
2) In case of No.1 failing, use Tv mode so you can up the shutter speed and handhold!!

:coat:

A big hammer always sorts things out!

An adult present is something you get from Ann Summers shops.
For all I know, you may be able to get certain types of tripod from them, and superglue must be in one dark corner, but maybe on the top shelf..

Janice - never seen one of those in Ann Summers but it looks like fun..!

:nono:

Can we please keep the sexual innuendos to a minimum.

I’m sure no one on here really wants to explain the ‘facts of life’ to young Matt or have his Mum bombarded with embarrassing questions.

It’s obvious that Matt is not ready for such things in his young life.

Thank you.

Looks to me like it would make your eyes water something terrible!

Sorry if I am causing upset - Matt is 16, less than a month away from being 17.
I had not imagined he would get upset by some gentle innuendo at that age, or would need his Mum to explain anything.
However, point taken.

I only know Matt from what I’ve learnt on this thread.

Therefore, I suggest – YES! :D

My post was ‘tongue in cheek’

Oh good... as I have a 17 year old son... and I know he'd have been laughing his head off!! :D

I can vouch for young Matt
He has been known to "get" risque' TFI's fast than some adults
I think it just might be the technical side of togging he needs explaining though
ie camera weight v unstable tripod = cock-up :D

I only know what I was like at 17 - a recovering druggie, having left home at 15, head chef in a restaurant, living with an 'older woman', riding a massive motorbike, and enjoying all the things I am missing now !!
Baz - good of you to try to protect the delicate Matt, who I too only know from the forum, but I did check his public profile to assertain his age, and from his jokes, he clearly is not looking to Mum for too much advice...

you may be young but i get the impression it way too late for this lot to corrupt you;)
