Where to purchase camera light seals
Regards

When I bought my C220 off ebay it had a piece of black wool glued in place instead of a proper light seal. No idea if it's suitable for your camera but it's worth considering? I'v ehad no problems whatsoever and I've been using it like this for nearly a year so far.

Here's a pic (might not be too clear, it's a heavy crop from the ebay listing photos I saved)

Wool or something similar that's less hairy is a good light seal and I believe used on old cameras.

I put a reply on that other 'Thread' on that link.

Thank you all for replys. Seals now ordered. :ty:
Thats the easy part. Fixing the seals may be a little more difficult. Couple of these may help. Ha Ha
Wool , draft excluder never thought of that.

The worst bit is actually removing the old ones - horrible stuff if it's decomposed into sludge.

If you bought the Jon Goodman ones, then they come with pretty good instructions - for me it's worth buying his kits rather than trying to make my own, just for those (It's surprising how many tiny bits of foam you might miss if you didn't know they were there).

I'd recommend getting a pair of tweezers, by the way. It's a lot less fiddly with them.

Took me best part of day to remove all traces of old seals now waiting on new.
