Who knows what the foam is that is used for replacement kits? And where I can get it IRL? The 5x4 camera needs some very simple seals that I'd like to do this weekend and not have to wait till middle of next week.
 
Like for like may be difficult. The material I removed was leather which had been varnished or painted over! That's partly why I wanted to look at it in a shop.
 
You need a well stocked craft shop then :-)
 
I have several acres of 1mm thick black, self adhesive foam at work. If you would like some, send me a message with your address.

It's on a 36" roll so it should fit any camera in existence!

I presume the brushish stuff is open cell and the other stuff is closed cell?
