I have that function now, but to me it seems to be only a tad different from the Clarity slider. Not as much as I had expected from people talking about it before it actually arrived. What do others think about it?

I was in Carrickfergus recently and took some photos of the tall ships. The dehaze function, in LR, was a life saver. Was really impressed, how it (not surprising) took out the haze and left me with some very nice images. The clarify slider would not have been much help.

I'm pretty impressed with it, very handy. Also usefull for adding haze for artistic effect.

Some people have found another use for it, finding dust spots, crank it all the way uo and it shoes the dust bunnies.

I am quite impressed with it, I took some pictures in the early morning mist of a swan on the river, it looked ok through the viewfinder but when I put it on the computer it was not as clear as I'd thought, looked at it again the other day with the dehaze slider and Bingo adjustments made, happy me!

I've got an old image that the Dehaze tool worked wonders on - I was really impressed.

Anyone finding it discolouring other parts of an image?

Slight change to item colour but got it back again by adjusting other sliders in LR. Worked for me.
